The First Edition of Africa Fashion Week Barcelona to Take Place This Week

Africa Fashion Week Barcelona 2013, is to take place in Barcelona the 13th, 14th and 15th of June, 2013.

The city of Barcelona is considered a fashion hots pot, hosting important events every year, and home to many important designers and one-of –a-kind shops. Because of the city’s uniqueness, climate, tourism, culture, and cosmopolitan character … Barcelona is the perfect city to house this original and innovative event.

The organization, SOS Africa, with Cultural Center (CIIC), has created this event in order to show the quality and future potential of African fashion. SOS Africa is a Barcelona-based organization that has been involved in educating people and introducing them to African culture for more than twenty years.

This is our first annual AFWB edition, which has been created with a lot of enthusiasm and commitment. We hope that this event becomes a reference point among the most emblematic African fashion events worldwide.
