The Africa Centre Announced as Event Sponsor for Fashion Africa Conference 2015!

Africa Fashion Guide is extremely excited to announce that The Africa Centre as event sponsors for our 2015 edition of our Fashion Africa Conference.

This is a significant partnership being that the Africa Centre is the venue that we hosted our first ever conference in September 2011 and they supported us in many ways then helping to make our event a success that night. With nearly 300 attendees, two panel discussions and over 10 panellists it was a thriving evening held at the original, historical building in London’s Covent Garden that was the Africa Centre building for many many years.

The Africa Centre is a UK charity registered that exists to promote Africa’s cultural diversity outside of the continent. They serve as a hub to promote creativity and innovation in African art, culture, business and entrepreneurship in London. Throughout their rich, 50-year history, the Africa Centre has inspired, enlightened, challenged and encouraged. The Africa Centre is dedicated to offering the African Diaspora and people interested in Africa a platform for experiencing exciting and engaging events, lectures, discussions and debates of cultural and business interests. These provide ideal venues for networking, socialising and the meeting of other like-minded people and organisations. SO it is more than fitting that they support our event in many ways including sharing our important event with their vast network.

It’s mission is “To be a flagship for Africa in Europe promoting the aspirations of Africa and its Diaspora. In particular to promote cultural, economic and socio-political initiatives in Britain and the rest of Europe that assist in the development of Africa.”

We are proud to have them on board as partners and sponsors and look forward to building upon this relationship for possible future events.
