Now in its 6th year, the SOURCE Expo connects buyers and visitors with some of the most pioneering sustainable, fair and eco suppliers and manufacturers from across the world, for the fashion sector. Happening ONLINE, 5 – 6th November 2014.

SOURCE Expo is the leading global online sourcing trade showcase for the fashion sector. It is the only event of its type designed to connect ethical and sustainable suppliers and manufacturers with brands and retailers from all over the globe. Taking place entirely online, SOURCE Expo gives you the opportunity to participate from anywhere in the world, at the comfort of your desk — all you need is a computer and an internet connection.

SOURCE Expo is a new breed of trade show packed with innovative fabric suppliers, pioneering production units, inspiring supplier organisations, leading sourcing services as well as trends, market information and expert insight — focusing on positive social and environmental impact.

The event will showcase exemplary suppliers of sustainable fabrics and components, fair trade and ethical production units and factories from all over the world. Two days of seminars are targeted to the specific sourcing needs of fashion brands and retailers. Pop in and out as it suits your schedule and interests.

Day One – Fabrics and Components

Showcasing sustainable suppliers of silk, cashmere, lace and high end, luxurious fabrics for fashion.

11:00 – 12:00 GMT: Design, Print & Dye

Presenting designers who create fabrics and patterns for wovens and knits, screen and digital printers as well as natural dye specialists with an ecological focus

12:30 – 13:30 GMT: Cotton & Fibre Innovation – in association with Plexus

Exploring the debate and sourcing options for sustainable cotton and cotton products, and showcasing fibre innovations in both eco-synthetics and natural fibres.

14:30 – 15:30 GMT: The Fabric Shop – in association with Lebenskleidung

Featuring “one-stop-shop” sourcing platforms offering a wide range of sustainable fabrics to haberdashery, from small to large order quantities.

16:00 – 17:00 GMT: Components & Accessories – in association with Chureca Chic

Showcasing suppliers of sustainable components, ecological product display and production services / manufacturers of accessories and jewellery.

17:30 – 18:30 GMT: Wool & Heavyweights – in association with Animana

Presenting producers of woollen and other heavyweight fibres and fabrics for both fashion and interiors, each with a sustainability focus.


Day Two – Production

09:30 – 10:30 GMT: Building Sustainable Supply Chains – in association withGOTS, Fairtrade (UK, CAN, USA, AUS, NZ), Responsible Trade Worldwide, 3DPNL

Introducing practical tools that can help you: including the Global Organic Textile Standard and Fair Trade Foundation looking at sustainable cotton supply chains; Responsible Trade Worldwide’s tech-based tools for worker engagement; and social, environmental and financial accounting with 3DPNL

11:00 – 12:00 GMT: Excellence at Scale – in association with Mantis World

Featuring sustainable suppliers and manufacturers that offer fabrics and garment production from medium to large scale quantities.

12:30 – 13:30 GMT: Luxury Production – in association with Lulea

Showcasing exemplary manufacturers specialising in highly skilled, high end production for luxury fashion from Europe to Africa and beyond

14:30 – 15:30 GMT: Boutique Production – in association with Artisan Resource

Discover a range of inspiring international producers catering to small-size minimum orders of expertly crafted fashion products.

16:00 – 17:00 GMT: Full Sourcing Support – in association with Barkha’s Custom Sourcing

From initial concept to final product, they feature organisations that offer full service production support and provide you help with any stage of the sourcing process.
