We often like to feature the collections by Gold Coast Trading Company as they have such a strong brand image and hold strong to the story they tell too. This collection titled“North African Games / #Bootleg Merch,” nicely sits in visually with what they have done before. They promote the diversity within what we like to see as the “African universe” because it seems to strongly hold an entity of its own, and they mix this with influences from the west. So its African in its story or historical context but western in its streetstyle aesthetic.
Strong African cultural influences fused with their notorious geometric prints and adding statement logos from North Africa countries Tunisia, Morocco and set on streetstyle-inspired silhouette on a simple black and white palette with slight pops of colour lift it yet bring newness.
