MAISON CHÂTEAU ROUGE & SAWA SHOES CAPSULE COLLECTION

We are asked by these two African designer brands:

“Can you imagine a urban version of the traditional african mama outfit?”
Maison Château Rouge and Sawa Shoes sampled indigo from Mali, they twisted african loincloths and they cut premium leathers from Ethiopia… 3 sweat-shirts and 3 pairs of sneakers have emerged from this unexpected mashup!

Sawa is a fashion brand which has taken the challenge to fabricate shoes in Africa. All the added value benefits the Continent. Sawa has just the courage of its opinions and marketing choices.

Maison Château Rouge is a project which celebrating the Paris African neighborhood, Château rouge area is located in the 18th district of the french capital.Maison Château Rouge gives an urban and contemporary attitude to african traditional outfits, the project is a cultural and cosmopolitan mashup.
We have seen alot of shoes with wax print coming from designers from the continent but what we love about these is that they are solid shoes made with the quality of ethiopia alongside the street cred of Maison Château Rouge.
