La Geneve North Events is an event management organisation that hosts various fashion events as well as product launches for private clients and members of the public They will be  presenting their LGN Events Summer Catwalk Presenting in London this July 8th and will showcase the work of Tanzanian born designer Anna Lukindo of creative fashion label Anna Luks.

Anna Lukindo can only be described as an experimental designer whose signature style is recognised by her use of zips, yarns, ropes, organic fabrics, cords, and her architectural influences as she was an architectural draughts woman back in her home country of Tanzania.

Now she uses her talent for textile to allows her to create new textures in her work and her skill for experimentation is seen in her use of printing and dyeing from which she creates the most unique and individual pieces of clothing.


End of  2010 Anna Luks was worn by the winning model of the Fashion4Africa showcase. This was a fundraising initiative inspired by a cultural study into African tourism, which helped to identify the amazing potential within the modern African textiles industries, African fashion, culture music and arts from all over the continent. And Samira Hashi was seleceted.

Anna debuted at London Fashion Week in February 2011 after only launching the label ‘Anna Luks’ once she graduated Middlesex University in 2010 and since then she has been receiving  a lot of interest and press. Her first collection was called ‘Colour Explosion’ and she is about to launch her second collection entitled ‘Jungle Paradise’.


The LGN Events Summer Designer Show will take place on Friday 8 July at Premier Members Venue Alto. Doors will open at 6.30pm with the show commencing at 7pm.
