New KISUA for 8 collection on

The cross-continental design collaborations – a new global aesthetic fusing African textures and techniques with Italy’s timeless elegance has resulted in KISUA for 8’s retail on the world’s leading online site for fashion, lifestyle and art:; joining international fashion brands such as Stella McCartney, Lanvin and Gucci. This ‘contemporary meets vintage’ collection has, furthermore, continued to capture the eyes of the Hollywood stars such as Beyoncé Knowles – who was spotted wearing an all-year statement piece – the Daria coat.

With patterns inspired from different corners of the African continent and the contemporary wardrobe essentials, the collection acquires a touch of both labels. Each piece seamlessly fuses KISUA’s vibrant print signature and minimal silhouettes with 8’s timeless aesthetic to create 14 unique, feminine and easy to wear pieces.

KISUA for 8 draws its inspiration from the bold and fearless spirit of the KISUA woman. Underpinned by a strong monochrome palette, this collection awakens the imagination with surprise citrus pops and playful geometric prints breathing new energy into the ever growing African fashion trend.

KISUA for 8 is fashion with a soul. The entire KISUA for 8 collection was designed and made in South Africa using locally sourced fabrics and indigenous crafting techniques. This approach is in accordance with KISUA’s trade-not-aid brand philosophy, which creates jobs and fosters sustainable development on the continent. The KISUA design and manufacturing team worked with local artisans and production houses to ensure the collection maintains the high quality standards that both KISUA and 8 are known for.
