Fashion, F.A.S.T and Festival FUN! – Ghana – August 2018 – Lets do this!

It is with so much excitement that today on Ghana Independence Day 2018 we inform you that we will be heading back to Ghana this August for our next Fashion Africa Sourcing Trip (F.A.S.T) AND will be heading to the Chale Wote Street Festival the week after!

CHALE WOTE Street Art Festival breaks creative boundaries by connecting music, art, dance, fashion and performance onto the streets of James Town, Accra. There will be food and a fashion marketplace, live street performances, African film shows, a fashion parade, a music block party, and much more.

Come on.

It can’t be all business right?

We all love some festival fun as well and am SURE especially with the excitement following the Black Panther movie (see our review here) and the #WakandaForever references to Africa you will ABSOLUTELY love having a cultural experience to add to your business trip with us.

Our list trip took place in March 2017, in partnership with the British Council Enterprise Africa Summit, with a five day program hosting delegates from design companies based in USA, Canada and the UK. These fashion businesses were escorted to towns including in and around Accra, Kedzi in the Volta region and Cape Coast to visit factories, print houses, artisans, designer studios, weavers, government organisations and trade officials.

Visits included viewings of premises, equipments and product capacities through to 1-2 hour workshops with partners and organisations including the British Council, as well as practical activities workshops and meetings throughout the week with local businesses and industry stakeholders who are looking for partners or investors.

Do check out our delegate testimonials on videos seen at the end of our feedback video https://vimeo.com/213927469
