Express Yourself with African Prints with Africa Fashion Week London this August! EVENT

Africa Fashion Week London is Europe’s largest event for African and African-inspired fashion and the perfect opportunity to find out how some of the most influential new designers are using eye-catching prints to bring an African flavour to contemporary fashion.

Designs by Ekundayo is the brainchild of Bunmi Ekundayo, a Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations graduate from East London with a strong background in fashion designing and textiles. She wanted a platform to celebrate African fashion and incorporate vibrant colours and bold African prints into everyday high street fashion. Designs by Ekundayo is an online store selling high quality African (Ankara) fabric and African inspired accessories at affordable prices.

Gnostic Jungle is a new London based footwear brand with a distinctive approach to design. With a debut men’s collection made up of five shoe designs, Gnostic Jungle features influences from traditional and multicultural textiles that are combined with modern high-top sneaker style. Each design embraces bright colours and striking patterns giving a unique and urban edge to this up-and-coming footwear company.

Many more designers are lined up to showcase colourful African prints at Africa Fashion Week London, the most exciting fashion event taking place in the capital this summer.
