In October just after Paris Fashion Week, PRAGUE will receive ‘la crème de la crème’ of the BLACK FASHION WEEK PRAGUE, a one-of-the-kind event initiated by Adama Paris with the purpose to celebrate fashion while revealing the togetherness of the Black Diaspora.

BLACK FASHION WEEK will focus on Black fashion giving black designers as well as black models a platform to showcase their talent to the public & media in Prague as they previously did in Paris. The purpose of this event is to promote black fashion industry and showcase the creation of black designers, the work of hair & make up artists, show producers and models beyond African borders and so compare different aspects of haute couture in big cities internationally.

They are an international collective of young people passionate about fashion and Africa founded by the Senegalese fashion designer Adama Paris (below – collection) in 2002.
