Korlekie is a contemporary female fashion brand that offers detailed and feminine looks inspired by Ghanaian tradition and British craftsmanship. Korlekie uses sustainable materials and all of its products have been handmade in the UK with care ensuring the utmost quality is delivered to them. Since its launch in late 2012, the brand has enjoyed a cult following, and has been worn on stage and on the red carpet by celebrities including Rita Ora, Alesha Dixon, Anna Friel, Ellie Goulding and Paloma Faith. Beatrice K Newman has received the emerging designer of the year 2013’ award at Fashions Finest Awards.
Élan vital is the creative force behind growth, change and desirable transformation. For Korlekie at the heart of this force are love and grace. We have turned them into a collection for spring/summer 2015, which symbolizes the ultimate power of femininity by playfully mixing the masculine with a touch of sensuality. The key silhouettes of the collection are high necks, asymmetric lines and structural knots placed carefully on Korlekie’s signature garments; lightweight and sustainable yarn, fine lurex and luxurious cotton satin. The outline of the garments gives an alluring shape to the body while the complexity of
the materials provides a sophisticated radiance to the wearer. At the center of Élan Vitals’ palette are dazzling shades of intense turquoise, copper orange, navy blue and platinum gold. The collection is comprised of a variety of summer essentials
that can be easily mixed and matched. Whether it’s a hip denim short, a light knitted dress or a glowing cardigan, Élan Vital offers diversity for both the sizzling Mediterranean and the cool English summer. The fusion of luxurious textiles, and light and vibrant knits offer a playful variety for the ultimate summer look.
