We would like to inform you of the latest developments on Africa Fashion Day Berlin (AFDB). Preparations are fervently underway. As you can imagine there is and has been a lot going on behind the scenes. Well they are excited to announce that Africa Fashion Day Berlin has been officially included in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2013.

Africa Fashion Day Berlin is the vision of a fashion showcase for Designers of the African Diaspora. The event will include runway shows, showrooms, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and a fair trade program raising awareness for fair trade is an important aspect of the Africa Fashion Day Berlin, for which we are excited to be linked to.

The catwalk and the exhibition will both be held in Hotel Adlon in Berlin followed by an exclusive after-party.

“Africa Fashion Day Berlin” is intended as a network for fashion designers with an African, Afro-Caribbean and Afro-German background using the framework of an exclusive event with international character, esprit and African flair. The inaugural “Africa Fashion Day Berlin” is planned for January 15th 2013.
