Screen shot 2012-09-27 at 12.22.35 PM
Design Africa is a new platform, founded by Henrietta Gallina and Bridget Russo who previously worked for Edun and set up Passion Projects recently. It was created to elevate the perception of design (and it’s perceived value) coming from the continent as a means to encourage trade and insight positive change via a program of panel discussions, events, initiatives and partnerships.
They had our inaugural Design Africa panel event in NYC in May, which was a huge success. Below is some highlighted press from the event.
Their next panel is in London on Oct 9th, 7pm to 10pm @ Shoreditch House – strictly invite only
PANELISTS include:

Hannah Pool – Journalist / Author
Laurence Chavin-Buthaud- Designer/Founder of menswear label Laurence Airline
