Ethiopian fashion brand Mafi presents a streetwise, sassy collection of urban sportswear and ready to wear garments for every woman to learn and love on Thursday, July 12^th at Africa Fashion Week in New York (AFWNY) . AFWNY, a luxury multi-day event produced by Adirée, took place at the Broad Street Ballroom on July 12^th, 13^th, 14th in New York City’s financial District.

Ethiopian designer Mahlet Afework founded her line Mafi in 2007, at the age of 18 and 5 years later at Origin Africa, the young designer won herself an invite to the African Fashion Week New York. Her clothes—hip, chic, and funky, are designed for the fashion conscience women & men who seeks an edgy, trendy, and yet unique look for their wardrobe.
