The British Council and New World Nigeria are looking for innovative creative and digital practitioners working in the UK and/or Nigeria’s film/TV, fashion, music or digital media sectors to participate in the UK-Nigeria Creative Partnership programme and seminar on 4, 5 and 6 August 2012.

4 and 5 August 2012

As part of the larger Nigeria House programme, creative and digital practitioners will be brought together to develop innovative ways of collaborating and stronger market linkages through a team-driven solutions focused hack event facilitated by Hatch Events. Participants will benefit from being at the forefront of a wider business to business platform – gaining access to industry leaders, creative investment communities, and inspiring routes into regional and international markets.

Participants will be invited to share their challenges and solutions at a wide reaching symposium of UK and Nigeria-based creative practitioners, businesses, consultants, investors and policymakers. Key themes will be addressed through panel-based discussions, including:

  • Developing partnerships and new models of working between UK and Nigeria based creative and digital practitioners.
  • Expanding the potential and impact digital technology has in sustaining links between key sectors in the global creative economy.
