We love events that promote the industry of fashion and hearing about this upcoming event in Nigeria all about the business of fashion just simply excited us!

The event has been endorsed by the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN) and is a social improvement initiative by En-Reach Limited in collaboration with FAB Magazine. This must attend event  is called  The Business Side of Fashion II- A Stakeholder’s Forum and will take place on the October 15th, 2011. It is held for all fashion clothing and accessory designers, fashion entrepreneurs, stylists, students and general fashion enthusiasts. All who take the industry seriously.

In discussing the event which happened for the first time last year, the organisers say

Last year, we shared our hearts, got inspired and learnt about how we can take the business of fashion to a new level. This year, we would do more than talk; we would create live changing plans for generation next and Next Level businesses and the Industry!

Folake Coker of Tiffany Amber is a guest speaker and will discuss – The Challenges and Triumphs of building a successful fashion brand. 

Also attending and guest speaking will be Mai Atafo of Mai Atafo Inspired discussing - Building brand credibility in the fashion industry – How a new fashion brand can make an impact in a short time and Ms Evelyn Oputu-MD Bank Of Industry- The Bank Of Industry’s role in enhancing growth in the Nigerian Garment, Textile and fashion industry through access to development funding.

Familusi Akin Babajide of Exclamations Couture & FAB Magazine will compere the night and there will also be mentors for the event which include:

-Lanre Da-Silva: Creative Director, Lanre Da-silva Couture

-Omoyemi Akerele: CEO, Style house Files

-Okunoren Twins

-Ituen Basi: Creative Director, Ituen Basi couture-

-Ayotomi Rotimi: Exclamation!

This event will provide the opportunity to hear top industry players share their experiences and the chance for all to network and also for those who come with their look book and subscribe to TW Magazine at the venue they will have the chance to showcase designs in TW Magazine. There will be also be free fashion magazines from media partners
